Join the Rapaport Social Responsibility Conference at JCK Las Vegas, June 4, 2023

RAPAPORT     Dear Daimond, The Rapaport Group will be hosting a live "Social Responsibility Conference" at the Las Vegas JCK Jewelry Show on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm PT. The presentation will be live and on Zoom. Please register here   The purpose of the conference is to invite leaders of the diamond, gem and jewelry industry, NGOs and governments to discuss ways to improve social responsibility within the jewelry industry. This will not be a conference of speeches but rather interactive discussion whereby invited participants will exchange ideas, discuss complex issues and drive consensus regarding an agenda of important issues.   The agenda is currently in formation but will likely focus on the following topics: Supply Chain Challenges and Definitions Existing standards  Respecting existing standards, CIBJO, RJC Sourcing, labeling, disclaiming, System of Warranties (SOW) Greenwashing Marketing Chain of Custody (CoC) standards, RJC Which standards of proof should be required for CoC? Are declarative, auditable standards sufficient?
